Description | Peter Hambro Mining Plc (PHM, Hambro or the company), a UK listed gold company, is engaged in gold mining and the acquisition, exploration and development of gold properties in Russia. Hambro holds a number of licences principally in the Amur Oblast including those covering the Pokrovskiy area, Pioneer, Tokur, Malomir Surround, Voroshilovskoye and additional properties in other regions of Russia. Hambro has a 97.7% interest in Pokrovskiy Rudnik, which holds the above licenses. Hambro brought its first mine, Pokrovskiy, into production in 1999. The project relates to the ongoing investment program towards exploration of these properties including the feasibility studies, detailed engineering and environmental and social impact assessments and other preparatory activities. |
