The project was sanctioned by the Ministry of Defence in March 2021 with a capital outlay of ₹112.82 crore and executed by the Military Engineer Services. Construction began in November 2021 and was completed within a compressed timeline despite challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and logistical difficulties. The hospital features state-of-the-art medical infrastructure and environmentally sustainable design, making it one of the largest military hospitals in the North Eastern Region. |
