Description | The 76 MW Phata Byung Hydroelectric Project is a run-of-the-river hydro project currently under construction in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India. Bhilwara Energy Limited has signed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire 100% equity in Mandakini Jal Urja Private Limited from Statkraft IH Holding AS, which owns this project. The acquisition is subject to standard closing conditions, after which Bhilwara Energy Limited will become the sole owner of the company and the project. This project is an important addition to Bhilwara Energy's renewable energy portfolio and supports the company's vision of building sustainable power generation infrastructure in India. |
