The project entails the construction of a 7.9 MW Waste-to Energy plant in Thalang Sub-district, Tayang District, Phetchaburi Province. SPV is WPGE Phetchaburi Co., Ltd. (WPP) a joint venture company between the sponsors WP Green Energy Co., Ltd. (WPGE) and STP&I Services Co., Ltd. (STPS). On 6th July 2015, WPP signed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Provincial Electricity Authority(PEA) for 5.99MW under Adder Program (Bt3.5/kWh). The project will be operating under BOI Privileges, which will exempt the company from import tariff and income taxes for 8 years. They signed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) in July 2015 and obtained Factory License in October the same year. The total cost of the project is 1.8 billion Baht or $ 50.87 million.
