Description

Description

The development objective of the Second Social Welfare Development and Reform Project for Philippines is to support the national program support for social protection of the department of social welfare and development (DSWD) to improve the use of health and education services of poor children. The project comprises of two components. The first component, support to the pantawid pamilya objective is to support the continuous delivery of the pantawid pamilya Pilipino conditional cash transfer (CCT) program to poor households with children. The second component, strengthening of CCT implementation and monitoring and evaluation will allow DSWD to undertake enhancements of the CCT program. It will do so by allowing DSWD’s national program management office (NPMO-Pantawid) to enhance implementation of the CCT, through a strengthened capacity for monitoring, evaluation and data analysis; enhanced payment and grievance redress system (GRS); streamlined and improved family and youth development sessions; and faster compliance verification and beneficiary data systems.
