This 1.554 mile project is contained entirely within the city limits of College Park, immediately adjacent to Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. Half of the project is in the southeast portion of Fulton County, and half is in the northwest portion of Clayton County. The project includes a stretch of multi-use path on an abandoned rail spur, and an adjoining stretch of sidewalk on an existing roadway shoulder. Neither section requires any right of way or easement. The 1.438 mile multi-use path section provides a 10’ wide concrete surface on graded aggregate base, with 4’ grassed shoulders on each side. Included in this stretch is an existing tunnel 440’ long. The tunnel is 20’ wide and approximately 20’ tall. The 0.116 mile sidewalk section includes a 5’ wide concrete surface adjacent to the back of curb with a 2.5’ grassed shoulder on the opposit
