Phyto 2026 Survey

The Phyto 2026 survey is a statistical operation for compiling and providing statistical data on PPP use in agriculture for reference year 2026 in France.The project aims to adapt the French PPP use statistics data collection to fulfil Regulation (EU) 2022/2379 (SAIO) and the Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/1537. It will be carried out by Department of Statistics and Foresight Analysis of Ministry of Agriculture. Data collection will be performed on the Internet with a questionnaire only focused on the PPP use data required by SAIO Regulation. Farmers who wish to do so and who are equipped with compatible FMIS will be offered the option of transferring PPP from their FMIS, in order to reduce the amount of time they spend entering their questionnaire on the Internet. The data should be transmitted to Eurostat before 31 December 2027.The objective is also to build a sustainable data collection system, which can be implemented again from the 2028 crop year, when PPP use data collection will become annual.
