Pilot Enterprise Risk Management & Financing Program (ERMFP) for MSMEs

The general objective (goal) of the project is to contribute to the survival and growth of targeted Jamaican MSMEs by enhancing their ability to successfully manage their businesses and increasing their access to credit. Specifically, the purpose of this intervention will be to pilot the use of sound risk management practices by targeted MSMEs in order to make their operations more viable and sustainable, improve their ability to access credit and to demonstrate the value of this approach to other MSMEs. Also, the project will help improve support systems for the targeted MSMEs by strengthening MSME business associations so that they can offer enhanced advisory and representational services to members.The project will consist of four Components: (i) Building awareness of enterprise risk management practices among MSMEs, (ii) Providing developmental support services to targeted MSMEs, (iii) Enhancing access to loan financing for targeted MSMEs and (iv) Capacity building of targeted Business Associations.
