Pipeline Gas Supply in River East Four Towns in Wangcheng County

In April 18, 2011, Changsha Xinao Gas Co., Ltd. a joint venture of Xinao Gas (55%) and the state owned Changsha Gas (45%) signed an agreement with the Wangcheng County Government to provide pipeline gas services to four towns in River East district for 30 years. Wangcheng County is administered by Changsha City, and has an area of 954 km2 and population of 530,000. Changsha Xinao Gas has a 30 year concession agreement to build and operate pipeline gas services in Changsha City, Hunan Province. The progress of the project is not much released, however in June 2011, Changsha Xinao Gas started to recruit operating workers for the project. Regarding a small project like this, this may imply that construction has been almost done. The total investment of the project was not reported.
