Pipestem Dam spillway modifications

Carry out modifications to the Pipestem Dam spillway in Jamestown. The project entails constructing a stepped roller-compacted concrete spillway chute structure with an integrated three-stage labyrinth crest control structure, approach walls and stilling basin. The stepped chute structure will armor the slope at the downstream end of the spillway and convey spillway flow from the higher elevation of the spillway channel to the lower elevation of Pipestem Creek. The stilling basin will dissipate the hydraulic energy of flow exiting the spillway before it enters the creek.
