Description | Adani Power has secured a Letter of Intent from Bihar State Power Generation Company to develop and operate a 2,400 MW greenfield thermal power plant in Pirpainti, Bhagalpur district, Bihar. The project will supply power to North and South Bihar Power Distribution Companies under the Design, Build, Finance, Own and Operate model. The $3 billion project will be executed in three phases with commissioning milestones at 48, 54, and 60 months from the appointed date, using Ultra-supercritical technology for higher efficiency and lower emissions. |
