Description | This project involves the design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of the Piura Nueva - Frontera transmission line, located in Peru and providing electricity transmission connection with Ecuador. This line starts from the Piura Nueva substation in Piura, Peru, and ends at the border of Ecuador. The total length of the Piura Nueva - Frontera transmission line is 270km with 500kV transmission capacity. The sponsor for this initiative, Celeo Redes, won the bidding with an offer of $107.6m and an annual O&M costs of $1.06m. The sponsor will operate with a duration of 30 years. The total project cost is $107.6m.
