With the project “Lieus of Life in the Greater Region”, the partners of the project in Luxembourg, Belgium and Germany want to give voice to young people in the Greater Region.Reading and writing are important elements of linguistic communication, for cultural coexistence in the Greater Region, where different languages from the Romanesque and Germanic linguistic areas meet.Due to the rapid development of the means of communication, the appropriate language is no longer valued and its importance for communication is threatened. The personal living environments that are created by language are increasingly determined by others through media communication. The proposed project aims to reduce this risk.The focus is on setting up writing workshops in the participating countries as well as joint workshops to deepen the knowledge gained and for mutual exchange.The texts written by young people will be published in a multilingual book and presented at a closing ceremony.
