This project marks the first new natural gas addition to the company's fleet in over a decade and will add a total of 1,300 MW to the plant's generation capacity. The turbines feature advanced technology with higher output, greater efficiency, air-cooled design for rapid start-up, and dual-fuel capability. The expansion is expected to create approximately 600 construction jobs and 15 permanent jobs, enhancing the state's energy infrastructure. |
