The plant will utilize Honeywell's UpCycle process technology to expand the types of plastics that can be recycled, reducing the need for fossil fuels and lowering carbon emissions. Sacyr will co-own and operate the facility with a capacity to transform 30,000 metric tons per year of mixed waste plastics into Honeywell Recycled Polymer Feedstock. The production is expected to begin in 2023. |
