Description | Pleasant Ridge Park, a 95-acre park in the north of Fairview Heights, is undergoing a complete revitalization as part of a $14 million project. Renovation plans include three new restrooms (one open year-round), three new pavilions, updated playground equipment, off-leash dog run, comfort station, shade pavilion, parking upgrades, and improvements to natural hiking trails. The park will be closed during the project, which is expected to begin in early 2026 and complete by October 2026. The city is applying for grants including PARC and OSLAD to help finance the improvements. |
