Pluto Train 2, Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside. Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of ~5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to ~ 225 Terajoules per day. Woodside has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2. For more information visit the Woodside website.   About Pluto Train 2 Pluto Train 2, Western Australia On 1 January 2022, Woodside issued Full Notice to Proceed (FNTP) to Bechtel for the Pluto Train 2 Project Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) scope of work. FNTP enables Bechtel to commence and complete the full engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning scope to support delivery of the Pluto Train 2 Project, building on the early works that are being delivered currently, including construction of the temporary Construction Accommodation Village to accommodate the non-local construction workforce at the Gap Ridge Village site in Karratha.  The EPC scope of work for Bechtel includes the construction and commissioning of the second LNG train, domestic gas facilities as well as common utilities, and general facilities at the Pluto LNG Park. Woodside and Bechtel are working to maximise opportunities for local, regional and WA businesses and people across the supply chain and through employment, including Indigenous participation opportunities.
