This project proposes improvements to the drainage systems at the following locations to maintain their reliability and integrity and help assure the continued safety of the traveling public.  The locations included are as follows:1. Hill Place from Creek Road to NY110 (New York Avenue) in the Hamlet of Halesite, Town of Huntington, Suffolk County. Complete the Hill Place by-pass culvert. Address flow direction concerns by triple culvert and any outstanding erosion control and sedimentation issues.2. NY454 (Veterans Memorial Highway) from Connetquot Avenue to Feuereisen Avenue, Johnson Avenue to Lincoln Avenue and Grundy Avenue to Broadway Avenue in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County. Replace old leaching basins, install leaching basins as needed to address spot drainage problems or regrade features to encourage flow, remove roadside edge earth build-up, improve median percolation through soil aeration.3. NY25A from Tesla Street to George Avenue in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County 4. NY25A 0.25 miles west of Hulse Landing Road in the Town of Riverhead, Suffolk County.
