Description

This project will correct existing pavement deficiencies on State Route 9W from East Main Street to Route 293 and from Angola Road to Moodna Creek Bridge in the Town of Stony Point in Rockland County and Towns of Highlands, Cornwall and New Windsor and Village of Highland Falls in Orange County. The work will primarily consist of milling and filling the roadway and resurfacing with warm-mix asphalt to extend its service life and improve the quality and safety of the pavement. This project will also repair or replace storm water catch basins on Route 9W from Angola Road to Moodna Creek Bridge to ensure the drainage structure functions as originally designed. Pedestrian facilities will be brought up to current American Disability Act (ADA) standards where feasible.
