Description | The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) of India has initiated a plan to develop LPG pipeline infrastructure to eliminate bulk road transportation of LPG. The plan includes 9 identified LPG pipeline projects with a cumulative length of 2500 km, connecting refineries and import terminals to LPG bottling plants to ensure efficient and safe distribution. Four pipelines are currently in the bidding conclusion phase: Cherlapally-Nagpur, Shikrapur-Hubli-Goa, Paradip-Raipur, and Jhansi-Sitarganj. The project aims to reduce transportation risks, greenhouse gas emissions, and support regional development by 2030. |
