Pointe-Verte - Upgrades to stormwater infrastrucutre and resurfacing of Quay Road

Rue du Quai is the natural storm drainage route for much of the municipality of Pointe-Verte; with the increased rainfall in recent years, the drainage system is often no longer adequate and water spills onto the road, making it unsafe to use. When the storm system is at capacity, water also spills over the wharf structures, creating erosion and siltation in the wharf itself. The proposed project consists of installing stormwater infrastructure along both sides of Rue du Quai as well as redesigning the roadway structure including widening and replacing the asphalt surface.
