Description | Dogal Enerji was planning the development of the 30 MW Samurlu wind farm, Aliaga, Izmir province. The project was to comprise 15 turbines of 2 MW, producing 75 GWh annually. Dogal Enerji was a subsidiary of Turkish Polat Enerji. Polat Enerji was 50% owned by French EDF Energies Nouvelles and entrepreneur Adnan Polat. Polat Enerji spanned four wind energy related SPVs: Dogal Energy, Soma Energy, Poyraz Energy and Doruk Energy. Annual output was estimated at 90 GWh. Commissioning was expected for 2012. The developer received a 49 year production license in December 2007, amended in October 2008. German Enercon was to supply the equipment. The project was reported as operated by EDF-EN. In 2013, Polat Enerji still reported the project as expecting to be commissioned in 2012. No further information was avialable.
