POLSKA RADA ORGANIZACJI MŁODZIEŻOWYCH The Polish Council of Youth Organizations is the largest and most diverse federation of non-governmental organizations representing the voices and needs of youth in contacts with decision-makers at the national level. It is the only organization with the status of a National Youth Council as defined by European law. Currently, the federation brings together 30 organizations with over 250 thousand young people. The Council chairs the National Working Group for EU Youth Dialogue, which includes the Ministry of National Education. PROM co-creates the Parliamentary Group for Supporting Youth Councils at Local Government Units. The statutory goals of the Polish Council of Youth Organizations include co-creating youth policy, promoting youth participation in public life, representing member organizations to the public sector and the public, and supporting cooperation between youth organizations. The Council also facilitates establishing contacts between Polish youth organizations and foreign youth associations, as well as supporting the development of Polish youth organizations. In March 2019, the Polish Council of Youth Organizations was recognized as one of the three most innovative implementation models of the EU Youth Dialogue project in Europe, focusing on increasing outreach and inclusion of young people from diverse backgrounds. In addition to flagship projects of the EU Youth Dialogue, PROM has a rich history of implementing projects that support youth organizations, such as Start 5b and Get Engaged, which exchanged good practices. We are an advocacy youth organization. Our daily activities involve creating space for debates on important issues and monitoring legislation. Recently, we initiated discussions in areas such as education and the structure of bodies for dialogue with youth. Our activities have been positively evaluated by the community and have enabled constructive dialogue with decision-makers.
