The proposal for POLIDIH aligns closely with the objectives of the Digital Europe Programme, as well as other key strategic documents that address the regional development of the areas covered by the Hub. The POLIDIH initiative responds to the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) call, targeting digital transformation in northern Ukraine, focusing on regions like Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Rivne, and Volyn. It emphasizes specialized digital technologies, particularly GIS services, for SMEs, small mid-caps, and public sector organizations. By leveraging GIS technologies, POLIDIH bridges urban-rural digital divides and supports regional development strategies. POLIDIH commits to an open and transparent service provision, engaging locally and within European innovation networks. Leveraging a consortium led by the Polissia National University, POLIDIH focuses on pre-investment testing, upskilling, funding support, and innovation ecosystem access. Integrating with initiatives like DTA, EEN, and Startup Europe, POLIDIH aims for collective growth and sustained impact. Through collaboration, POLIDIH enriches its innovation ecosystem, streamlines services, and enhances competitiveness among local businesses. These collaboration mechanisms will also allow us to strengthen POLIDIH's capabilities and expand the Hub's areas of technological and sectoral expertise. POLIDIH's strategic approach not only drives digital innovation but also fosters tangible impacts in economic growth, job creation, and environmental sustainability, reinforcing the resilience and prosperity of northern Ukraine and contributing to the broader European digital agenda. POLIDIH's ambition is to provide direct digital transformation support to a total of 540 companies and public sector organizations. Training and innovation ecosystem strengthening activities will multiply the impact of POLIDIH's activities. In economic terms, the activities promoted by POLIDIH will trigger investments worth €200,000.
