This project is a safety improvement in Atlanta. The project will construct a landscaped median along Ponce de Leon Avenue between Peachtree Street and Juniper Street to improve safety for pedestrians and motorists. Bulb-outs, in combination with on-street parking, are also proposed at several locations. Crosswalks in the area would be upgraded to the latest ADA standards. The project encompasses intersection improvements at the following 12 intersections: 1.) Ponce de Leon Avenue at Spring Street 2.) Ponce de Leon Avenue at West Peachtree Street 3.) Ponce de Leon Avenue at Peachtree Street 4.) Ponce de Leon Avenue at Juniper Street/Courtland Street 5.) Ponce de Leon Avenue at Piedmont Avenue 6.) North Avenue at Spring Street 7.) North Avenue at West Peachtree Street 8.) North Avenue at Peachtree Street 9.) North Avenue at Courtland Street 10.) North Avenue at Piedmont 11.) Linden Avenue at Spring Street 12.) Linden Avenue at West Peachtree Street.
