The upgrade is part of a £56.8 million rail project aimed at connecting Cornwall's coasts. After the work, the speed restriction on the viaduct was removed, allowing trains to travel at 30mph instead of 10mph. Additional work to paint the steel and repair stone columns and abutments is ongoing. |
