Port McNeill Pool Mechanical Upgrade and Heat Loop

The project will increase access to community and recreation by upgrading the mechanical systems of the pool as well as create a heat loop between the pool to the Chilton Arena. The pool services many of the small communities of the north island with outdoor swimming, swim lessons and for therapeutic uses. The project works will include: - replacing the heat exchanger, filter, pump, boiler, salt cells and controller for the mechanical heating system; - complete structural updates to the building that houses the heating equipment; - install all necessary tie-ins and new gas piping; - works to tie into the existing heat loop from the Chilton Arena; and, - related works and appurtenances.
