Lion Energy Limited terminated the Joint Development Agreement with partners DGA Energy Solutions Australia Pty Ltd and Samsung C&T Corporation for the development of a green hydrogen production and refuelling hub at the Port of Brisbane. The project targeted heavy transport, logistics, public transport, and industrial applications. The termination reflects challenging market conditions, elevated capital costs, unsupportive regulatory frameworks, and limited near-term demand visibility. Lion will maintain the project in a holding pattern while exploring commercially viable options.
