Port of Ngqura LNG Terminal

Development of an onshore liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification facility at the Port of Ngqura, Eastern Cape, South Africa. The project includes an initial phase with floating LNG storage and regasification infrastructure to supply gas before 2030, and a full terminal operational by 2035 with a yearly capacity of 3.6 million tons. TNPA will invest additionally to create a dedicated LNG berth. The infrastructure will support gas supply to off-takers, industry, data centres, and independent power producers to enable production of about 3,500 MW of electricity within the Coega Special Economic Zone.
