Description | The project will replace approximately 2,600 metres of watermain in Thames Centre, Ontario. The work will involve replacing about 1,250 metres of watermain under Ross, Ruth, David, and Patricia Streets, and approximately 1,350 metres of watermain under Catherine Street between Shaw Road and Richmond Street. Hydrant sets, inline valves and service line connections will also be renewed during construction. The project will fund improvements to local water pipes, which will increase access to potable water by increasing the reliability and capacity of the transmission infrastructure. |
