Description | The project envisages the construction of a 515 MW Hydro Plant (Poso Peaker Power Plant) in Central Sulawesi. The sponsor of the project is PT Poso Energy and covers $ 267.91 million while the rest of the finance is covered by a $ 552.19 million debt provided by Bank Negara Indonesia; PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk; PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk; PT Bank Panin Tbk; PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Agroniaga Tbk. The project has a 30 year PPA contract signed with PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero). Financial close took place on August 1, 2018. The completion was marked by the issuance of operation worthy certification (SLO) for the hydropower plant stage-3 and 4 on 10 December 2021, and the SLO for the stage-1 and 2 in September 2021.
