Description	Hydro-Québec has started the construction of a new 120-25 kV substation on Boulevard de Montréal in Bromont. The substation will be connected to the Cleveland substation in Granby by a new 120 kV double-circuit transmission line, with a length of 8.3 km. These additions to Hydro-Québec's transmission network aim to meet the growing electricity needs of the region. The substation and transmission line were commissioned in September 2016. It is now possible to plan the dismantling of the current Bromont substation, located on Rue de Gaspé, as well as certain equipment from the Cleveland substation. Several kilometers of 49 kV lines will also be dismantled. Several additions and modifications to the distribution network, both overhead and underground, will also be made to serve customers in the region.
