The provision of a senior long-term loan to finance the construction and operation of a wind farm with the total capacity of up to 219.5 MW located in Norther Poland (the “Project”). The Project is expected to be made available to a special purpose company, Potegowo Mashav Sp. z.o.o. (the “borrower”) created to own, construct and operate the wind farm. The Borrower is majority owned by the Israel Infrastructure Fund and Helios Energy Investment (jointly the “Sponsors”). In 2021 the Sponsor approached the Bank for additional financing of the extension of Biecino wind farm (additional 8 wind turbines of 2.75MW each) and the construction of Wieliszewo wind farm  (17 wind turbines of 2.2 MW each) in a new location 10 km south of existing wind turbines. The new wind turbines are located in the same general area. The Project was first approved 09 Apr 2019 and extension to be approved in Q2 2021 The Project and subsequent extension are aimed at supporting renewable energy development in Poland and overall decarbonisation of the energy sector.
