Description | Improvement of the current water treatment plant to provide more stable and usable water to the residents of Pouch Cove. Based on an ongoing Request for Proposals (RFP) process the town will select the best method to improve its treatment plant process. The current treatment style will be changed which will allow for the removal of the turbidity and allow the town to have clear, clean drinking water with less chlorine and reduce the level of trihalomethanes (THM’s) and haloacetic acids (HAA’s) to appropriate amounts. |
