The Poverty Reduction Support Credit (PRSC) Project aims to assist the Government of Honduras to improve its institutional capacity in the areas of planning, participatory monitoring, public expenditure management, accountability, public administration, and public service delivery thereby facilitating implementation of the PRS. Component one develops the capacity to manage, monitor, evaluate and improve PRS Implementation. It opens the process of consultation for the PRSP and subsequent progress reports. Component two improves the Implementation of public sector management. This component would be geared to support the implementation of the new Civil Service legislation, thereby ensuring a more equitable working environment with better performance incentives and improved quality of civil servants. It would also strengthen the Government's budgetary, financial, and fiduciary management to produce a more accurate, timely, relevant, and transparent public sector. Component three strengthens public expenditure management. This component seeks to support sectoral activities within the framework of the PRS.
