Powell River Curling Club - Improving Air Quality of a Curling Rink

The project will support pandemic response by making improvements to the ventilation system within the Powell River Curling Club facility. The improvements will increase the air quality in the building, increasing the safety of the users. The project will complete improvements to the humidity and the air quality in the building. Reduction in the humidity of the building will help minimize the spread of COVID. The project will also increase the quality of the ice in the building. The project works include: - installation of a desiccant de-humidifier; - installation of insulation; and, - all related works.
