Description | The City of San José approved a franchise agreement with LS Power to construct major electric transmission infrastructure projects that will strengthen grid reliability, support economic development, and advance climate and electrification goals. The projects include approximately 17 miles of new transmission infrastructure, including a 12-mile underground power line along Monterey Road and about two miles of additional power lines in north San José along Los Esteros Road. LS Power will also install about three miles of shadow conduit for future fiber optic cables. |
