Description | The construction of 500 kilovolt (kV) and 220 kV high voltage transmission lines and associated substations will improve system stability and security, and improve the reliability of power supply in Southern Viet Nam. The transmission lines will enable evacuation of electricity to load centers from the both the planned public sector and private sector financed thermal power plants in southern Viet Nam. The Project will also reinforce the transmission system in southern Viet Nam to be able to import power from Cambodia in 2013. |
