Description | The Bang Yai – Kanchanaburi Motorway (M6) project concerns 96km from the Outer Ring Road of Bangkok (also called the M9) to the west. The motorway will have four to six lanes and eight toll collection stations. It is currently under construction.The concessionaire will be responsible for the construction of toll collection stations, installation of toll collection and traffic control system (estimated cost: US$180 million) and the operation and maintenance of the entire route for a period of 30 years.The Department of Transport aim to award the contract in September 2018 and open the motorway in 2020. |
