The main purpose of the program is to provide users with quality PPPs. The action aims at ensuring provision of quality comparable input data for calculating PPPs. The National Statistical Authority of Cyprus CYSTAT, shall fulfil tasks under Objectives A to F to achieve this aim. Objective (Obj.) A: The tasks are the consumer goods price surveys, namely E22-2 Transport, restaurants and hotels, E23-1 Services, E23-2 Furniture and Health, E24-1 Food, drinks and tobacco, and E24-2 Personal appearance. Additional task is participation to 2 countries’ meetings and reception of a contractor visit (if any). Expected result is to have a dataset of average prices of sufficient number of products to enable the establishment of quality PPPs. Deliverables depending on the survey are the preview questionnaire, presurvey results, survey data & report, spatial adjustment coefficients, task report and survey report part 2. Obj. B: The task is the Estate Agencies Rent survey 2023. Expected result and deliverable is to provide capital city rents and report for 2023. Obj. C: The tasks are related to Capital Goods Price Surveys, namely Construction Surveys (CS) 2022 and 2023 as well as Equipment Goods Surveys (EG) 2023. Expected result is to provide validated construction and equipment goods price data& metadata. Deliverables are the survey data & survey report (EG’23 & CS’23), task report (EG’23, CS’22, CS’23) and survey report section 3 (CS’22). Obj. D: The task is the Hospital price survey for 2023 that refers to 2020-22 data. Expected results is to provide validated hospital price data and metadata. Deliverable is the 2020-22 qnr. Obj. E: The tasks involve submission of other PPP Input data in 2023. Expected result is to provide data needed for PPP calculations, namely GDP Weights, VAT, Tips, Actual& Imputed Rents, Compensation of Gov. Employees and confirmation of Energy and Education data. Obj. F: Submission of an up-to-date Inventory of sources & methods.
