Description | The overall purpose of the Eurostat/OECD Purchasing Power Parities (PPP) programme is to provide users with high quality PPPs and related economic indicators. The action comprises the role of Statistics Austria as one of the participating countries within the programme during the 16 months’ working period of the survey year 2023 on the base of the work plan established by the Working Group on Purchasing Power Parities. The action aims at ensuring the provision of high quality and comparable input data for the purpose of calculating PPPs. To achieve this aim, Statistics Austria will fulfil the specific tasks under the following objectives A to F: Consumer Good Price Surveys; Obj. B: Estate Agencies Rent Survey; Obj. C: Capital Goods Price Surveys; Obj. D: Hospital Price Surveys; Obj. E: Other PPP Input Data; Obj. F: PPP Inventory. |
