Description | The PrAEctiCe project, funded by the EU Horizon-program, enhances food production through Integrated Aqua-Agriculture (IAA) systems to support smallholder farmers with sustainable farming techniques. It includes three living labs in East Africa (Kisumu/Kenya, Kajjansi/Uganda, Morogoro/Tanzania) that optimize water, energy, and nutrient use through aquaculture and integrated farming systems powered by photovoltaics. The project also developed a Decision Support Tool and an interactive map of 210 IAA systems to aid adoption and capacity building. |
