Description | Prairie Lithium has reached a milestone in the development of its flagship Prairie Lithium Project by announcing a binding definitive offtake agreement with South Korean partner Hydro Lithium. The agreement secures the purchase of 100% of Phase 1 production, de-risking the project's initial commercial-scale proof of concept. Hydro Lithium will purchase 150 tonnes per annum of lithium carbonate equivalent and provide approximately $10 million of advanced lithium refining equipment at Prairie's Saskatchewan site in Canada. Construction at the Saskatchewan facility is well advanced, targeting first production by Q4 2026. |
