Description | A new coastal beach road proposed along the Prakasam shoreline between Kothapatnam and adjoining coastal stretches. The project aims to boost economic development by enhancing tourism, fisheries infrastructure, and livelihood opportunities for coastal villages. It will improve connectivity, reduce travel time, and support the development of beach facilities, water sports zones, seafood stalls, eco-stay resorts, and recreation spaces. The government is also planning protective measures against coastal erosion with revetments and retaining walls worth ₹21 crore. |
