operational

voestalpine Railway Systems enhances rail efficiency by pre-assembling turnouts including all safety-related components in the factory, shifting complex work away from the track. This approach reduces curfew times, construction site risks, and operational stress during ongoing traffic, while improving switch quality and reducing life cycle costs. The company operates the largest fleet of turnout transport wagons in Europe, enabling just-in-time delivery tailored to construction processes and timeframes, eliminating storage times and preserving track capacity.
