This project will include the preliminary design of a standalone water treatment system for the Administration Office and Community Centre. This is the main and active community building that hosts frequent events and occasions throughout the year. The community is currently serviced by individual groundwater systems which are non-compliant, do not meet Ontario Drinking Water Standards and poses a significant health and safety risk. Due the location of the Administrative Office and Community Centre away from the community core and limited funding for the design and construction of a communal water treatment plant, this essential building requires a standalone water treatment system to provide safe, secure and reliable potable water to the community.
