Description | This project to modernise the line between Besançon and La Chaux de Fonds aims at:- to maintain the line by carrying out the works of consolidation of the works of art and of the earthworks located on both sides of the border, some of which threaten to stop the operation of the line — to improve traffic journey times through a renewal of the track sections allowing not only the permanent speed limits to be removed but also to restore the initial speeds of the line — renew telecoms to migrate security equipment to a new medium (optical cable), prefiguring the modernisation of signalling and connecting the clock country to the high-digit network. |
