The project involves setting up a 4 GW TOPCon solar PV cell manufacturing unit and a 5 GW silicon ingot and wafer production plant in Naidupeta Industrial Park, Nellore district. The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation allocated 269 acres of land for the project, which is expected to generate around 2,000 direct jobs and more indirect employment opportunities. The company also plans to expand production capacity to 7 GW with an additional investment in the future. |
