Description
Description | The City of Germantown planned to build the Premier Sports Complex, an outdoor sports and recreation complex in the Forest Hill Heights area. The project aimed to expand recreational and competitive opportunities and establish Germantown as a regional sports tourism destination. The city acquired over 50 acres of land for the project. However, proposals from the private sector did not align with the city's vision, suggesting an indoor facility instead. The project was halted due to lack of secured state and private funding and misalignment with the original outdoor sports complex vision. |
