The general objective is to contribute to prevent radicalisation through de-radicalisation, disengagement and rehabilitation programmes in release and probation, notably through multi-agency partnerships that include local authorities. Specific objectives: -to develop a state of the art of multi-agency de-radicalisation, disengagement and rehabilitation programmes in release and probation that involve local authorities. -to identify the needs in this field in order to draw up tailor-made recommendations on the development of multi-agency initiatives in release and probation. -to strengthen local authorities’ capacities on multi-agency tertiary prevention of radicalisation in release and probation. -to bring together European local authorities willing to address radicalisation through release and probation Direct beneficiaries: 14 partners and their networks, including 9 local and regional authorities from 5 countries: Málaga, Generalitat of Catalonia, Rotterdam, The Hague, Rennes, Lyon, Bagnolet, Malmö, Vilvoorde; as well as 5 organisations: namely Violence Prevention Network, Denkzeit, Fryshuset, European Forum for Restorative Justice and Fondation Action Contre l’Exclusion. The Confederation of European Probation is an associate partner. Indirect beneficiaries: Local and regional authorities willing to establish multi-agency partnerships and long-term strategies in this field. Expected results: Strengthening of local authorities’ capacities regarding multi-agency de-radicalisation, disengagement and rehabilitation programmes in release and probation Improved knowledge on how local authorities contribute in tertiary prevention programmes against radicalisation in release and probation. Establishment of collaboration methods and creation of programmes aimed at radicalised offenders. Deliverables: 9 practices sheets on local activities. 1 guidebook with results of the state of the art, summary of local activities, policy and methodological guidelines.
